For the last several years, USAT has provided grant monies for the USAT Womens
Commission (WC) to foster growth of women in the sport of triathlon. We are
excited to open up grant applications for the 2006 year to those organizations
that foster the mission of USAT WC. Please provide the following information
in order to be considered for a grant:

Preference will be given to those camps that best meet the following:
- Fosters Womens Commission Mission
- Serves an area of the country that is underrepresented for camps/clinics
- Effectively promotes multi-sport with the camp/clinic to population
of area being served
- Provides detailed information and questions answered above and
a good sense of the event.
- Preference will be also given to those that are new or lacking
funding.
Applications for grant for 2006 season must be completed in full
by end of business 5 pm CT, December 31, 2006 and provided to

Grant recipients will be announced the week of January 10th, 2007.
Monies will be distributed by January 30, 2007.

A requirement of this grant is that you provide detailed 250-300 words on
your clinic in email to the VC of Camps and Clinics. Also required is at least
1 or more pictures of the event. These requirements must be provided within
90 days of the finish of event or you will not be considered for future grants
from the commission.
Additionally, a requirement is that any event which is provided grant monies,
must be USAT sanctioned.
